Christopher Windom choreographed the MGM Aretha Franklin biopic, RESPECT, starring Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson. He directed Derek Walcott’s The Odyssey at Alley Theatre, and choreographed the musical Cabaret at Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery, Alabama. He choreographed Kid Victory, a new musical by John Kander and Greg Pierce, for The Vineyard Theatre, and Sunday In The Park With George at the Guthrie Theatre. He also choreographed the innovative production of Les Misérables, directed by Liesl Tommy at Dallas Theater Center, and the premier production of Frozen: Live at The Hyperion for Disney. He served as Movement Director for three of The Public Theatre Mobile Shakespeare Unit productions, Pericles directed by Rob Melrose, The Comedy of Errors directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, and The Tempest directed by Laurie Woolery. He served as Drama League Assistant Director on the Broadway revival of Pippin for Tony winning director Diane Paulus, and Associate Director for the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat directed and choreographed by two time Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler. Christopher received the Dean Goodman Choice Award for best choreography for Ragtime at TheatreWorks in Palo Alto, California. He has directed Into The Woods (Webster University), Exit Strategy, and Fabulation (Temple University), Moony's Kid Don't Cry by Tennessee Williams (Drama League), The Beard by Paul Mancini (TinyRhino) and directed and choreographed A Christmas Carol (Trinity Repertory Company). He received an Excellence Award for Choreography and an Honorable Mention for directing Central Avenue Breakdown (NYMF). He directed The Three Times She Knocked by A.D. Penedo (FringeNYC), which received a Critic's Pick and was named Best of the Fest. He also directed Church Basement Ladies (Maples Repertory Theatre), Clue: the Musical (Maples Repertory Theatre), Big River (Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre), Chicago (Festival 56), Our Country’s Good (Brown/Trinity Rep), Mo’ Reece and the Girls by Jackie Sibblies (New Plays Festival, Brown/Trinity Rep), TOT! by Ian McDonald (Writing is Live Play Festival), The Tempest (Brown/Trinity Rep) and Woyzeck (Brown/Trinity Rep). He choreographed Dessa Rose and Crowns (TheatreWorks), Oklahoma! (Maples Rep) Meet Me In St LouisChicago (Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre), My Fair Lady (Maples Repertory Theatre), Swing! (Stage One), City of Freaks (The A Train Plays), Parade (New York University), Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery (Temple University) and A Christmas Carol directed by Liesl Tommy (Trinity Repertory Company).

He assistant directed Don't Go Gentle by Stephen Belber for director Lucie Tiberghien (MCC Theatre), February House for Davis McCallum (The Public and Long Wharf Theatre), Assistant Director/Assistant Choreographer on Ruined directed by Liesl Tommy (La Jolla Playhouse, The Huntington Theatre, Berkley Repertory Theatre), Assistant Director for Laura Kepley on Some Things Are Private (Trinity Repertory Company), Associate Director/Choreographer on War Brides (The York Theatre), and Associate Director/Choreographer on Smokey Joe's Cafe (Maine State Music Theatre). Other choreography credits include Meet Me In St Louis, Oklahoma!Pippin, Gypsy, Peter Pan, Guys & Dolls and Too Darn Hot: A Celebration of Cole Porter.
 
As a performer Christopher has performed on Broadway and National Tours in the shows Fosse and Damn Yankees starring Jerry Lewis. He has performed in many regional theatres including The Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Stages St Louis, The St Louis Rep, The St Louis Muny, Marriott Lincolnshire, NYC Encores, and others. Christopher taught movement for actors in Temple University's theatre department and Musical Theatre song study at Webster Conservatory. He has taught Musical Theatre Dance master classes at Michigan State University, Webster University, Temple University, Ema Pulido School of Dance in Mexico City, Mexico, Steppin' Out Dance Studio, and at the Center of Contemporary Arts in St Louis, MO. He taught Physical Theatre for The Brown University TheatreBridge program. He is also an Artistic Associate for Mark Stuart Dance Theatre. Christopher is a Drama League Fellow and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Webster University and received his MFA in Directing from Brown University/Trinity Rep.
